Why we do this
Once, we met around the fire.
Now we're stressed out and can't sleep from a blue light overdose. We scroll past one another and sit alone more often than is good for us.
We bring you back to basics. In nature, together.
We believe sweating together can solve a lot of that
- Polarisation. In the sauna, bubbles burst. Builder next to lawyer, and mother next to surfer.
- Burnout. Eighty minutes without your phone. Heat, cold and rest. Your body remembers what switching off for a moment feels like.
- Loneliness. You walk in alone and go home with a good conversation, a name and often a new friend.
Our goal is simple
To create a place for the neighbourhood. The modern campfire. Today's community centre, where everyone is welcome.
A hot sauna, cold water, a fire and each other. Wellness for the people.
What we do: the modern campfire
People have gathered around the fire for thousands of years. We make today's version of it: a hot sauna, cold water, a campfire and no phones.
Think of it as today's community centre. A place you walk into alone and leave with a conversation. Where an ordinary Tuesday evening suddenly becomes special. Where everyone is welcome, and it feels that way too.
Since December 2024 we have been doing that in the polder near Leiden and on the beach in Scheveningen. One guest put it like this: "I haven't felt this relaxed in years."

Two places is not enough. Every city, every village and every neighbourhood deserves a campfire.
How we work: every place is different
We don't have a standard concept that we drop somewhere. We start with the place, the neighbourhood and the people who are already there.
In Leiden we use around 800 m² in the polder: saunas, a hot tub, ice baths and a tent. In Scheveningen we stand on 30 m². There the beach is our garden, the sea our cold plunge, and you change at the beach club.
Big or small, city or nature: more is possible than you think. We find the right form together.

Who we are looking for: an entrepreneur with vision
We are not looking for square metres. We are looking for someone who wants to build something for the neighbourhood together with us.
- You have a location. A terrace, a sports club, a hotel, a city beach. A place that is already alive.
- You have a piece of land. By (or on) the water, in the green or in the middle of the city. It doesn't have to be big.
- You share our vision. You also believe people should meet in real life more often, and you want to do something with that.
